Sustainable Practices

& Ethos

We respect and champion the importance of leaving as little trace on this planet as possible, holding an ethical and sustainable practice at the heart of what we do.

We thoughtfully design and make our pieces to stand the test of time, with the intention of them becoming contemporary heirlooms, to be loved and enjoyed for generations.

We don’t work seasonally or follow fashion trends in a hope that our pieces have a permanent relevance in an ever evolving world.

Design

All of our designing is done in house by Jessie and presented to our bespoke clients in their own digital Bespoke Presentation Pack. We believe in the importance of thoughtful transparence and of sharing our knowledge of materials, production, and quality.

Precious Metal

We prioritise the use of recycled materials in all the pieces we make, using only recycled gold and silver in our work.

These metals are processed in refineries that aim to adopt the most sustainable practices, reducing their environmental impact .

This recycled metal comes from existing jewellery, industrial metals, or electronic components, refined back to its purest elements, with the finished product equal in quality to newly mined gold.

Craftsmanship

We commit to upholding the highest level of craftsmanship, working alongside master casters, mounters, setters and polishers, all within Hatton Garden and a stones throw from our studio. Each day, Jessie will be running (sometimes in a not so cool fashion!) from workshop to workshop, keeping our carbon footprint as low as it can possibly be.

We work on our pieces, one at a time, taking the highest level of care over the process of each individual work.

Conflict-free Diamonds

We work with conflict-free diamonds coming only from companies that adhere to the Kimberley Process, preventing the distribution of conflict diamonds in both rough and polished cut stones.

The gemstones we source are conflict-free and fair trade, individually selected by Jessie from only our most trusted suppliers and dealers.

Packaging

All our cardboard boxes and mailing bags are made from recycled paper which reduces greenhouse gas emissions that can contribute to climate change.

We use pouches made from a recycled cotton and can be reused, recycled or composted.

Care, Repair & Reuse

One of the best ways things we can do for the planet is to reduce what we buy and look after what we have.

Though our pieces are designed to last decades, they can always do with a little TLC from time to time to ensure their longevity. Simply get in touch to arrange for a little refurbishment or for us to check any settings or stones.
