Bespoke engagement and wedding rings

How long does a Bespoke Ring Take?

Based on the complexity of design, bespoke engagement rings normally take 12+ weeks from concept to completion.

Bespoke Wedding Bands generally take from 4-12 weeks

How much does a Bespoke Ring cost?

Bespoke Engagement Rings start from £2,500. The final price of the ring will be based on any precious stone/s used, the metal the ring is made from and the complexity of the design.

Bespoke Wedding Bands start from £400 for a 9ct Gold Band.

I'm interested in commissioning a Bespoke Engagement Ring.  Where do I start?

To find out more about the stages involved in creating a bespoke piece, please visit our enquire here.  Following your enquiry we can arrange an initial consultation via our booking page. To see previous bespoke engagement rings that we have created please click here.

Where do your bespoke consultations take place?

We offer consultations in person at our studio at The Goldsmiths Centre or at home in London, E8. Alternatively we can meet via Zoom (though we’d recommend meeting in person if possible to view stones and to collect your ring).

Do you work with overseas clients?

Yes! We’ve enjoyed making many rings for clients in the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia and Europe. Correspondence will take place over Zoom and via email. We will send over macro images and videos of any stone options. Shipping carriers are selected by our clients but we generally use FedEx.

When do I pay for my Bespoke Ring?

Once the final design and stones(s) are approved, we will set in place a provisional delivery date and based on your quote ask that a 50% initial payment be arranged, with the balance to be paid upon completion.

This payment will allow us to start covering the costs of materials and services and therefore is non refundable.

Please note that depending on our supplier and/or value of the stone, we may ask that the 50% initial payment be arranged prior to the design stage in order to secure your stone

Following your initial consultation, we will ask you whether you would like to proceed with stone sourcing and/or designs. If you decide not to proceed with your ring following your this we reserve the right to charge a £300 + VAT design fee (which is redeemable should you continue your bespoke journey at a later date).

How can I measure my finger size?

We measure our client’s finger size at the initial consultation. We also offer opportunities to check the fit of the ring at different stages of the process to make sure it’s just right. We also have some handy tips we can share if trying to covertly work out your partner’s finger size.

Can I resize my ring?

Yes, we offer complimentary resizing service for our bespoke engagement rings and wedding rings within a three month period of the delivery of your ring. If you wish for your ring to be resized again after the complimentary service, there will be a charge of approximately £50 per ring. It’s best to make sure that you’re sure of your finger size ahead of resizing, as further re-sizings may compromise the strength and structure of your ring.

Where are your Precious Stones and Diamonds sourced from?

We work with conflict-free diamonds coming only from companies that adhere to the Kimberley Process, preventing the distribution of conflict diamonds in both rough and polished cut stones.

The gemstones we source are conflict-free and fair trade, individually selected by Jessie from only our most trusted suppliers and dealers.

Do you work with Heirloom Stones/Jewellery Remakes?

Yes! We can work with you to create a new piece of jewellery from an existing heirloom piece you may have. We’d recommend having any diamonds or gemstones fully insured ahead of this and having them assessed by a professional gemologist ahead of repurposing them.

Can I source my own stone to be made into a Bespoke Ring?

It’s really important to us to use only the highest quality precious gemstones and diamonds in our jewellery from our trusted suppliers. For this reason we cannot work with self sourced stones if not an heirloom stone.

What Precious Metals do you use?

We prioritise the use of recycled materials in all the pieces we make, using only recycled gold and silver in our work.

These metals are processed in refineries that aim to adopt the most sustainable practices, reducing their environmental impact .

This recycled metal comes from existing jewellery, industrial metals, or electronic components, refined back to its purest elements, with the finished product equal in quality to newly mined gold.

How can I track the progress of my ring?

Throughout each stage of the Bespoke Engagement Ring process, we will keep you updated through your own customised Bespoke Presentation Pack. This will include precious stone options, designs, CAD renders, wax prints, your receipt and jewellery care and insurance advice.

What Payment Methods do you accept?

We will send an invoice for an electronic bank transfer for our bespoke pieces. If you would prefer to pay using a credit card, we can privately list your item to purchase through our website, though we would need to add any additional processing fees.

Can I return my Bespoke Piece?

As bespoke pieces are incredibly personal and tailored to you and your brief we do not accept returns on any bespoke jewellery created.

Ordering From The Online Shop

Where can I find Jewellery to purchase on the Website?

All of our current pieces available can be found under the Shop drop down menu.  Once on the shop pages you can click on your desired piece/s and add them to your card.

Can I choose from metal colours and sizes?

All pieces that have variations in metal colour and/or size will have a drop down menu once the product is clicked on from the main shop page.  For products that have these variations, you will need to select your choice/s before adding to your cart.

If you require a ring in a half size (e.g. K 1/2) please select the closest in-stock size available and add a note in the Additional Information form at the checkout.

Can I customise and order from your Shop?

We can carry out a number of customisations to your order including the below:

- Hand/laser engraving of text and/or images.

- Crafting pieces in a range of precious metals (we can create the majority of our styles in sterling silver and 9ct, 18ct, white, rose & yellow gold and platinum).

- Adding precious/semi precious stones to a piece.

- Altering chain lengths.

- Adding a different finish to your piece.

If you would like to order a customised piece, please contact us here prior to ordering and we can provide a quote for the customisation and advise you of your options.

I don't know which ring size to order, how can I find out my size?

Prior to purchase we suggest visiting a local jeweller who should be more than happy to measure your finger size for you.

If this is not possible, you can find out your ring size by measuring the internal diameter of an existing ring that you have.  The internal diameter measurement can be taken from the inner edge of a ring to inner edge.  Please do not measure from the outside edges.  You can convert this measurement into your ring size here

If you are local to our London studio you are very welcome to visit and have your size measured in house.  Please contact us here to arrange.

I don't know my UK ring size, how can I find this out?

If you enter your international ring size in the Additional Information form at the checkout, we can convert it into a UK size for you.  Alternatively, you can convert your ring size here.

I've ordered the wrong ring size, how can I get the correct size?

As all of our pieces are made to stock, it is important that you are sure of the correct ring size before purchase.

However if the wrong ring size is ordered and we have the correct size in stock we can offer you an exchange if the original ring has not been worn and is in its original condition.  If we don't have your correct size in stock, depending on the size we may be able to adjust the size of the ring for a small fee.  For more information, please feel fee to contact us here.

I would like to view and try a piece before purchasing, is this possible?

You are more than welcome to come and visit our London studio to try a piece before you purchase if convenient.  As all of our pieces are made to order, we only hold a small number of styles and samples.  Please contact us to see if we have your preferred style available to view.  To arrange a time to visit, please contact us here.

The piece I would like to order is out of stock.  Can I still order it?

In some cases we may be able to recreate an out of stock style though if your desired piece was in our sale section, we may not be able to produce it for the sale price as it would need to be made specially to order.  Please contact us here to enquire.

Which payment types are accepted on the website?

All payments placed on the website are processed by Stripe, the secure online payment service.  We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments.  If you would like to arrange your payment via Paypal or a Bank Transfer please contact us here.  Please note that we cannot dispatch any orders until full and complete payment is received.

Where can I find out more about shipping and returns?

You can find all shipping information and our shop and returns polices here.
